Codar, one of Africa’s fastest-growing professional training companies and a portfolio venture of KWE4 Africa Venture Studio, has announced the successful close of a $1.5 million funding round, a milestone that reflects its growing mission to build Africa’s next generation of tech professionals and digital innovators.
Codar continues to strengthen its position as a leading provider of practical digital skills training by expanding its AI programmes alongside its broader offerings in software development, cybersecurity, data analytics, cloud computing, and other high-demand digital disciplines. The company is also enhancing its online learning platform, developing new learning hubs, and increasing access to scholarships for aspiring tech professionals in underserved communities. These initiatives will be further supported by the recent investment, raised through a combination of equity and debt financing.
Codar currently serves more than 5,000 active learners and has reached over 70,000 students through its programs and initiatives. The company has built a reputation as a technology education platform focused on making high-quality digital skills training more accessible across the continent.
