The Ogun State Police Command has scheduled a two-day security stakeholders’ workshop as part of efforts to ensure the peaceful and credible conduct of the 2027 general elections.
The workshop, themed “Elections, Community Mobilisation, The Law & the Media,” is scheduled to hold from September 22 to 23, 2026, according to the organisers.
Governor Dapo Abiodun is expected to declare the workshop open and deliver the keynote address, while a veteran lawyer and public relations expert, Fassy Yusuf, is billed to present the lead paper.
About 520 stakeholders from across the state are expected to participate in the training.
