Porsche 911 GT3 Bergsport Debuts As A Rare Sports Car Americans Can't Buy

Exactly 100 Bergsport units will be sold only in Austria, France, Italy and Switzerland, with none allocated to the US.

It’s based on the 911 GT3 Touring, fitted with the Lightweight Package, six-speed manual and forged-aluminum wheels.

The Bergsport debuts at Arosa ClassicCar; deliveries start winter 2027/2028.

Porsche builds a lot of special editions these days, but few come with a hard geographic wall around them. The 911 GT3 Bergsport is one of those: a market edition sold only in Austria, France, Italy and Switzerland, and American buyers simply do not get a seat at the table.

Porsche Exclusive Manufaktur built just 100 examples, each one dressed as a rolling tribute to Alpine hillclimb racing. It is based on the current 911 GT3 with Touring Package, and it has its world premiere at the Arosa ClassicCar event on September 3, 2026, on the same 4.5-mile course that climbs about 1,385 feet where Porsche's Bergspyder racers once ran.
