10 persons, including six juveniles, were caught by the police for allegedly riding two-wheelers at high speed and performing dangerous stunts on 100 Feet Road near the Metro station in Arumbakkam on Sunday. The police also seized five two-wheelers used in the incident.The Anna Nagar Traffic Investigation Police registered a case. A police team examined CCTV camera footage from the area and identified the riders. The arrested persons were Adithya, 23, Senthamizhselvan, 20, Rahul, 27, and Ajay Kumar, 23.Six juveniles involved in the incident were also apprehended and questioned. Four arrested persons were produced before a court and remanded in judicial custody, while the juveniles were produced before the Juvenile Justice Board and sent to a juvenile observation home.The action was taken as part of intensified traffic enforcement measures ordered by Greater Chennai Police Commissioner A. Amalraj to curb violations and ensure the safety of motorists and the public. The Traffic Police warned that stringent legal action would be taken against those who ride or drive vehicles at high speed and in a dangerous manner under the guise of performing stunts, particularly when such acts endanger the public or pose a risk to public property.
