MANILA, Philippines — The local government of Manila recorded 33 new cases of influenza-like illness (ILI) on Monday, Aug. 31, its Public Information Office (PIO) said.
The latest WILD diseases report showed that the new cases brought the city’s total number of ILI cases to 1,203 since the start of the year.
W.I.L.D. stands for illnesses that commonly surge during the rainy season: water-borne diseases, influenza, leptospirosis and dengue.
