Stefan Joel Govindraju, accused of colluding with Gauteng health officials to manipulate Tembisa Hospital’s procurement process, has been granted R200,000 bail by the Specialised Commercial Crimes Court.
Tembisa Hospital corruption accused Stefan Joel Govindraju has been granted R200,000 bail by the Specialised Commercial Crimes Court sitting at the Palm Ridge Magistrates’ Court.
Govindraju, 37, made a brief appearance in court on Monday, after being arrested by the Hawks at OR Tambo International Airport on Friday upon returning to South Africa from abroad.
Media were denied permission to photograph the accused.
Govindraju is accused of colluding with officials in the Gauteng Department of Health to manipulate the hospital’s procurement process in a case involving more than R635 million.
