MANILA, Philippines — As the country observed National Heroes’ Day on Monday, Speaker Faustino “Bojie” Dy III called on Filipinos to contribute to nation-building in ways big or small, while remaining compassionate and unwavering.
Dy made this call as he reminded Filipinos that National Heroes’ Day is not simply a day of commemoration, but a period to remind Filipinos of who they are.
