Over the course of four days, Russia launched nearly 1,500 drones of all types at Ukraine, including about 800 jet-powered drones.

According to Ukrinform, this was stated in a message from President Volodymyr Zelensky, published on Facebook.

“Today, our military gave briefings on air defense. Right now, the Russians’ tactic is to wear down Ukraine, to wear down Ukrainians—first and foremost, our own people. There are constant drone attacks—many ‘Shahed’ jet-powered drones. Our soldiers are shooting down a significant portion of them. There have been nearly 1,500 drones of all types in just these four days, of which about 800 were jet-powered,” Zelensky noted.

According to him, the most challenging task is shooting down the jet-powered drones. Currently, combat aircraft are primarily responsible for defending against them. Work is underway to ensure we have the necessary interceptors.
