Over the course of the week, the Russians launched nearly 2,200 attack drones at Ukrainian territory.
According to Ukrinform, Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky reported this on Telegram.
“In total, this week alone, the Russians launched about 2,200 attack drones, more than 1,800 guided aerial bombs, and 87 missiles of various types against Ukraine,” he stated.
Zelensky noted that yesterday alone, five people were killed and 26 others were injured in Zaporizhzhia as a result of Russian guided aerial bomb strikes, while in Poltava, two people were killed and 12 were injured—including six children—as a result of shelling.
The president expressed his condolences to the families and loved ones of the victims and those who died.
