Suspended Crime Intelligence boss Major-General Feroz Khan has reportedly been re-admitted to a Johannesburg hospital, just days before he is due to appear before the Madlanga Commission.

Major-General Feroz Khan has been re-admitted to a Johannesburg hospital, just days before he is expected to face questions at the Madlanga Commission.

The suspended Crime Intelligence deputy head is reportedly back in hospital nearly two months after he was shot and seriously wounded in Houghton, according to the SABC.

Khan was shot on June 28 and spent time in hospital recovering from his injuries.

His latest hospitalisation comes at a critical time, with the senior police officer subpoenaed to appear before the Madlanga Commission this week.
