Claims by Russian propagandists that Russian forces had allegedly captured the settlements of Velykyi Prykil and Sadky in the Sumy region are false.
The Kursk Group of Forces reported this on Facebook, according to Ukrinform.
The military stressed that both settlements remain under the control of Ukraine’s Defense Forces.
According to Ukrainian units, Russian forces managed only to carry out isolated assault attempts, which ended where they began.
The Kursk Group noted that over the past week, Russian forces had already claimed the alleged “liberation” of five settlements in the Sumy region.
