While state weather bureau PAGASA confirmed that the low pressure area (LPA) off Taiwan exited the Philippine Area of Responsibility (PAR) on Saturday morning, another LPA hovering east of the country is expected to enter PAR shortly.

The weather bureau issued a heavy rainfall warning at 2:00 PM, signaling continued localized thunderstorms across Metro Manila and surrounding regions.
