Over the past 24 hours, on August 29, Ukraine’s Defense Forces recorded 221 combat engagements with Russian forces along the front line.
According to Ukrinform, this was reported by the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine on Facebook in an operational update as of 8:00 on Sunday, August 30.
Yesterday, Russian forces launched four missile strikes using five missiles and carried out 79 airstrikes, dropping 292 guided aerial bombs. In addition, Russian forces deployed 11,357 kamikaze drones and carried out 3,138 shelling attacks on settlements and Ukrainian military positions, including 60 using multiple launch rocket systems.
The enemy shelled, among other locations, the settlements of Neskuchne, Korenok, Potapivka, Mala Korchakivka, Volfyne, Atynske, Sopych, Bachivsk, and Tovstodubove in the Sumy region, as well as Liskivshchyna in the Chernihiv region.
Ukraine’s Air Force, missile forces and artillery struck 14 clusters of Russian personnel, seven artillery systems, six UAV control posts and three other important enemy targets.
