Multidisciplinary artist, Olufolafunmi Abiodun, is carving a niche for himself by combining music, sound, film, performance and creative storytelling to address social issues and connect with audiences.
Unlike artists who focus primarily on a single discipline, Abiodun has developed a creative practice that cuts across several fields. He works as a musician, songwriter, guitarist, producer, music director and filmmaker, while also using Cadenza Care Initiative, the non-profit organisation he founded, to develop creative projects addressing social issues.
A significant aspect of his work is his use of creative expression to address issues including mental health, autism awareness and drug abuse.
Rather than relying solely on conventional advocacy, Abiodun uses music, films, live performances, documentaries and community outreach to make conversations around these subjects more accessible to audiences.
