Could you tell us about yourself?
My name is Bayo Ododo, a Nigerian folklore music artist. I’m interested in preserving and promoting Africa’s rich cultural heritage through music. My musical work is centred on using traditional music to educate, inspire, and encourage younger generations to appreciate our cultural identity and embrace our core values, such as love, unity, respect, and peaceful coexistence. I believe that music is a good way to preserve traditions.
Was being a musician a childhood dream?
Yes, it was. Music has always been a part of my life since I was young.
