QNET, a global lifestyle and wellness company operating through a direct-selling model, has warned Nigerians against a growing pattern of fraudulent activities in which criminals allegedly hijack the names of established companies to lure victims with fake job offers, investment opportunities, overseas employment and guaranteed financial returns.
The company said the latest concerns followed reports of the arrest of four individuals in Minna, Niger State, over an alleged fraudulent scheme in which the QNET name was reportedly used to promote an online investment opportunity. According to the report, the suspects allegedly demanded N200,000 from an individual who had travelled to Minna after responding to what he understood to be a job opportunity.
QNET said the matter remains under police investigation and that the suspects are presumed innocent until proven guilty by a court.

The company also addressed a separate report concerning the arrest of 55 irregular migrants in Osun State, after some of those arrested reportedly told immigration authorities that they had travelled to the state to engage in an online business identified as QNET.
