During our 2026 fantasy football season Discord kickoff, my boss asked who our favorite targets were. I said, “Everyone will have to wait for next week’s ‘My Guys’ release; I have 21 of them.” He said, “You can’t have 21 guys!” Like Lee Corso, I said, “Not so fast!” I can have 21 guys when you’re in as many leagues as I am. After all, “my guys” are the players I target and draft the most. But I’ll be nice … and trim one player to make it an even 20 — and it’s down to 18 after the Jayden Higgins injury and Najee Harris signing in New York. I don’t have 21, but I still have more than enough guys for you to also target in your drafts.QuarterbacksJaxson Dart, NYG: Because Dart stepped on the field in Weeks 2 and 3, his fantasy-point average is skewed. Taking only his starts, Dart averaged 20.6 fantasy points per game (FPPG), which is a mark that easily sits inside the top 10 every year and often pushes for the top five. In fact, Dart finished as a QB1 (top-12 QB) nine times in 12 starts, including three top-five finishes where he threw for zero or one touchdown. Rushing is huge with quarterbacks, and Dart had 487 yards and nine touchdowns on the ground. There are risks with a new offense, injury potential and his unpolished passing ability, but the value is immense.Dak Prescott, DAL: Prescott is a pretty simple case, as any quarterback with the potential to approach 5,000 passing yards is intriguing, particularly when he’s drafted as a fringe QB1. Prescott has averaged 18+ FPPG in every season except 2017 (his Year 2) and 2024, hitting 20+ four times.Malik Willis, MIA: As with Dart, Willis’ rushing carries most of the weight. The Dolphins’ new quarterback has one of the highest rushing ceilings at the position, averaging nearly seven rushes in his starts. Over the past 10 seasons, only 27 quarterbacks had at least 100 rushes, and they averaged 21.4 fantasy points per game. In 2020, Cam Newton, with just 2,657 passing yards and eight passing touchdowns, averaged the fewest amount of points (17.3). (This excludes Lamar Jackson’s rookie season, when he played in every game but started only seven.)Fantasy Football Draft Assistant
