The case has now been passed to a prosecutor to consider charges.Meanwhile, the National Prosecution Authority's police crimes unit is investigating the officer's actions. The officer is suspected of causing aggravated injury, aggravated endangerment of traffic safety, as well as breach of official duty.Footage of the incident sparked a widespread debate about the police's response.
