The Dublin Fringe Festival kicks off on Saturday, September 5th, bringing theatre productions, dance performances and immersive installations to multiple venues around the city. Over the next couple of weeks on The Women’s Podcast, we’ll be highlighting some of the shows created by women that feature in this year’s programme.In the latest episode, we’re joined by Fionnuala Gygax and Venetia Bowe from Chaos Factory, a Dublin-based theatre company who are bringing their show, Miss You, to the festival from September 10th to 12th. The show is inspired by the many cases of missing women in Ireland and tells the story of three friends who get together on the 10th anniversary of their close friend’s disappearance. The pair – who co-wrote and also star in the production – talk to Róisín Ingle about their backgrounds in theatre, the importance of movement in their work and the joys of working in the creative industry.
