Kolkata: The daughter-in-law of former Union minister Mukul Roy is among 31 West Bengal tourists still missing. These tourists, all heading for the Kailash-Mansarovar Yatra, are largely from the Kolkata neighbourhood, although some are from outlying areas of the state. Of the 32-member group, one has been rescued so far."We have sent reports to the PMO. We pray for their safe return," West Bengal chief minister Suvendu Adhikari said. The group started from Kolkata on August 21."One guest has been rescued while 31 are missing," said Manish Singh, from the 'Chalo Jai' Travel Group.Among the missing is Sharmistha Bhowmik Roy, wife of former Trinamool Congress MLA Subhranshu Roy and daughter-in-law of Mukul Roy. Subhrangshu said his wife was 10 km away from the reported disaster zone when he last spoke.
