Ford says Ranger Super Duty demand is strong, with the rugged pickup outselling some established rivals.

The Super Duty packs serious hardware, including a reinforced chassis, heavy-duty suspension, and a 9,921-pound towing capacity.

Ford is expanding the Ranger Super Duty, adding more configurations and bringing the truck to additional markets beyond Australia.

Ford recently turned the Ranger into something considerably more rugged with the new Super Duty trim. Unfortunately, it’s only for Australia—meaning we won’t see Ford’s toughest Ranger on this side of the globe anytime soon. But buyers in Australia are already loving it.

Speaking to Australia’s Drive, President and CEO of Ford Australia and New Zealand, Fadi Mawal, told the outlet that the beefed-up pickup is already outselling some of its closest rivals. Yes, that potentially includes the iconic Land Cruiser 70 Series. Mawal said:
