President Volodymyr Zelensky met with Moldovan President Maia Sandu in Chișinău, stressing the need to deepen cooperation between the two countries.
As reported by Ukrinform, the Ukrainian President said this in a Facebook post.
“Today in Chișinău. An important meeting with Maia Sandu. We are working to ensure greater shared security, energy, and infrastructure capabilities. Right now, it is especially important to stand together and strengthen one another,” Zelensky said.
He added that on August 24, Ukraine’s Independence Day, President of Moldova Maia Sandu was in Ukraine. “Today, Ukraine stands together with Moldova on its Independence Day. Friends should stand shoulder to shoulder,” the Ukrainian President noted.
