Flying drones and other unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs) has been prohibited within a 2-km radius of the venues and routes associated with the visit of Vice-President of India C.P. Radhakrishnan to Erode district on August 29.In a release, Collector S. Kandasamy said that Mr. Radhakrishnan is scheduled to arrive by helicopter at Kongu Engineering College in Perundurai to participate in the Founders’ Day celebrations of the Kongu Vellalar Institute of Technology Trust and other programmes.In view of the visit, the flying of drones has been prohibited at Perundurai, Kongu Engineering College and the routes connecting the college with Sakthi Infra Tex Limited.
