The district administration has banned the usage of drones in Thanjavur district on April 10.
In an official release, Collector B. Priyanka Pankajam has said that Chief Minister M. K. Stalin is scheduled to visit the district on Friday, and, hence, drones had been banned for security reasons.
The ban will be in force for 24 hours starting from 6 a.m. on April 10, and any violation will attract legal action.
