The Thanjavur district administration has banned the use of drones for 12 hours between the Indian Air Force Station, Thanjavur, and Pudukudi hamlet near SASTRA, on August 17 in view of Vice-President C.P. Radhakrishnan’s visit to the deemed university.Use of drones were banned on this stretch on the Tiruchi-Nagapattinam National Highway from 6 a.m. to 6 p.m. in view of the movement of Vice-President’s convoy.
