A 26-year-old youth, P. Thangamuneeswaran, was hacked to death by a woman, Maruthayee (38), at Vijayalakshmi Colony on Wednesday night.Sivakasi East police have arrested the accused.The police said that Thangamuneeswaran had been sexually harassing the woman ever since he came out of jail on bail on August 21.Along with a few others, the deceased had attacked Maruthayee and her friends with a knife and robbed them of gold and money in May.The police had arrested him for robbery and he was remanded in judicial custody.On Wednesday night too, Thangamuneeswaran had gone to her house and allegedly harassed her.
