The TTD-run hospitals would soon offer better and more advanced medical services, Chairman B.R. Naidu said on Thursday, underlining plans to strengthen Tirupati’s position as an integrated medical hub.Mr. Naidu made these remarks after newly-appointed SVIMS Director G. Jagadish called on him at his camp office in Tirumala.Congratulating Dr. Jagadish on his appointment to the coveted post, Mr. Naidu sounded optimistic that he would steer SVIMS towards higher standards of specialised healthcare, and said the Super Speciality Heart Care Hospital for Children in Tirupati would be inaugurated soon.Mr. Naidu said the TTD would work towards expanding NTR Vaidya Seva services, particularly to ease the financial burden on the poor patients in the region and improve access to advanced treatment.
