Sri Padmavathi Children’s Super Specialty Hospital, a prestigious project taken up by the Tirumala Tirupati Devasthanams (TTD), will be completed within the stipulated time, says TTD’s Joint Executive Officer (Health & Education) A. Sharath.
The state-of-the-art facility is coming up at the foot of the Tirumala hills in a massive six-floor building, with a helipad at the top to handle emergency cases.
While inspecting the progress of the construction, Mr. Sharath said that one room on each floor should be developed as a model unit with comprehensive planning to include engineering, electrical, fire safety, medical equipment and allied facilities.
Similarly, the pending works should be completed in coordination with the respective departments and the medical support facilities required for patient services in each room should be arranged according to the standards. “If necessary, reports on best practices being implemented in reputed hospitals should be collected and adopted,” he added.
Chief Engineer T.V. Satyanarayana, Hospital Director N. Srinath Reddy, Superintending Engineers T. Manoharam and K. Venkateswarlu, and Deputy Executive Engineer Harshavardhan Reddy were present.
