ILOILO CITY — A barangay official tagged as a high-value individual and a 16-year-old minor were arrested in a buy-bust operation in Iloilo City on Tuesday, August 25, with police seizing around 90 grams of suspected shabu valued at P612,000.

The Iloilo City Drug Enforcement Unit and the Iloilo City Police Station 4–Station Drug Enforcement Team conducted the joint operation in Barangay Tap-oc in Molo district following extensive intelligence validation, surveillance, and target profiling.

Authorities identified the adult suspect by the alias “Bon-Bon,” 39, a barangay councilor in Molo.
