The Nigeria Premier Football League (NPFL) has secured a major commercial boost after unveiling a new title sponsorship agreement with EuroMatch, worth more than $7.5 million over three years.
The landmark partnership was formally announced in Abuja on Wednesday, 26 August, bringing an end to an almost 10-year wait for the NPFL to secure a conventional title sponsor.
The agreement represents a significant commercial milestone for Nigerian football and offers the league a fresh opportunity to strengthen its financial position, raise its profile and build a more sustainable competition for clubs, players and supporters.
Under the terms of the deal, EuroMatch becomes the official title sponsor of the Nigeria Premier Football League, with the brand expected to occupy a central position in the league’s commercial identity throughout the three-year partnership.
The value of the agreement makes it one of the most significant commercial deals in recent NPFL history, arriving at a time when the league is seeking to improve its visibility, matchday experience, digital reach and overall commercial appeal.
