The Greater Chennai Police have arrested a 32-year-old man from Guntur in Andhra Pradesh in connection with the death of a woman from Saligramam after he threatened to share her private videos and photos with her husband on Monday.Police sources said the 32-year-old victim was staying with her husband and three-year-old son. She was found dead at her house on Monday under suspicious circumstances. The Virugambakkam police took up investigation into the suspicious death and declared it as a case of suicide.After examining the mobile phone contact details, police found that she was in constant touch with Mohammed Hussain, 32, who ran a travel business in the area, and another man. The police found online transfers through an online money portal from her phone to the two men.Police said the woman had stopped communicating with the two men in recent days. Following this, the men sent audio recordings and private videos of their conversations to her husband and threatened her.A team of Virugambakkam police went to Guntur and arrested Mohammed Hussain in connection with the case. He was booked for abetment of suicide.
