D-Wave CFO John Markovich will retire and resign from his position effective September 2, 2026, after five years with the company.

Markovich helped lead D-Wave through its 2022 public listing, more than $900 million in capital raises and efforts to improve financial performance.

D-Wave senior vice president of finance Greg Golkov will serve as acting CFO and principal financial and accounting officer.
