Aeroparque is still closed. Tuesday was day one of a 55-hour shutdown; today is the middle day. The airport reopens at 4 p.m. tomorrow, Thursday 27 August. About 900 flights are affected, with roughly 540 shifted to Ezeiza and 360 rescheduled.
The peso keeps climbing. Argentina’s wholesale rate closed Tuesday at 1,512, up five pesos from Monday’s record and now at its fourth consecutive daily high. The blue held at 1,560 and the CCL is around 1,600.
Pereira reopens today. Matecaña airport resumes commercial operations after the 10 August earthquake, but LATAM’s schedule is thin: two daily from Bogotá and one from Medellín, 21 weekly flights against five daily before.
