Aug 26, 2026 – 11.52amThe Reserve Bank of Australia’s fear that higher-than-expected inflation may force another interest rate rise has been realised, as prices increased by more than economists had anticipated for the 12 months to July.Headline inflation landed at 3.5 per cent for the year to July.
