A man is in hospital under police guard after a woman was found dead inside a home north-west of Melbourne.Emergency services were called to the Connor Street home in Bacchus Marsh shortly after 3.30am on Wednesday.A woman, who is yet to be formally identified, was found dead inside the home.A man, 75, was arrested at the scene and taken to hospital under police guard with injuries that are not believed to be life-threatening.'It is believed the parties are known (to each other) and, at this stage, police are not looking for anyone else in relation to the incident,' a police statement read.No charges have yet been laid. A crime scene was established at the property as homicide detectives investigated the circumstances surrounding the death. Anyone with information is urged to contact Crime Stoppers.
