Ruslan Kivan, KADORR Group chairman, received Ukraine’s Order of Merit, third class, in recognition of his contribution to Ukrainian public life as the country celebrated its 35th Independence Day on Monday, Aug 24. The recipients were awarded with the orders and honorary titles for “significant services in strengthening Ukrainian statehood, courage and selfless dedication demonstrated in defending Ukraine’s sovereignty and territorial integrity, a substantial personal contribution to the development of various areas of public life, the defense of state’s national interests, and conscientious fulfillment of professional duties,” according to Dumskaya on Monday. War veteran and state financial inspector Oleksandr Mazurenko also received the Order of Merit, third class. Support for displaced families Led by Kivan, KADORR Group has provided housing and other assistance to Ukrainians displaced by Russia’s full-scale invasion. In a housing giveaway on May 20, the company handed apartments to 11 families who lost their homes to the war, following an earlier transfer of apartments to eight families. The housing certificates were given to the families during a ceremony that took place in Odesa, at the company’s business center, as part of a broader effort to support internally displaced people (IDP).
