Rosalía played her second of five nights at the Palacio de los Deportes in Mexico City on Monday (Aug. 24) as part of her LUX Tour. Joining her in the famous “confessional” was Chilean-Mexican star Mon Laferte, who brought a new dimension to the Catalan artist’s iconic heartbreak anthem, “La Perla.”
Dressed in a pink corset and a striking fuchsia long skirt, Laferte took the stage after Rosalía introduced her as a woman who “sings about love, heartbreak, desire, pain, rage (…) turning everything she touches into art,” sparking curiosity about the reflection the guest singer of “Tu Falta de Querer” would share regarding relationships.
