The All Progressives Congress (APC) has won all the 13 chairmanship and 171 councillorship seats in the 22 August local government elections in Ebonyi State.
The News Agency of Nigeria (NAN) reports that no other political party participated in the council elections.
Patrick Enyi, chairman, Ebonyi State Independent Electoral Commission (EBSIEC), announced the results in Abakaliki on Sunday, saying that APC candidates won all the seats.
The chairmen-elect include Osborne Umahi, son of the Minister of Works, David Umahi, for Ohaozara Local Government Area.
Others are Peace Agwu, Ishielu; Paul Ituma, Ohaukwu; Friday Nwuhuo, Ezza North; Chinedu Mkpuma, Ezza South; Chidi Nwode, Ikwo; Timothy Nwachi, Afikpo North; and Ikechukwu Ogbofia, Onicha.
