Octopus Energy US has launched Octopus Charge, a mobile app designed to bring together public electric vehicle charging networks across North America into a single account.
The app allows drivers to locate, start and pay for charging sessions without switching between multiple operators' own apps.
Octopus Charge draws on data from 211,221 chargers across 24 partner networks in the US and Canada, according to Electrek.
Those networks reportedly include ChargePoint, AppleGreen Electric, EVgo, Blink, bp pulse, Shell Recharge, FLO, EV Connect, Circle K, Circuit Électrique and FPL EVolution.
Notably absent, at least for now, are some of the biggest names in American charging infrastructure.
