Dolly's Tennessean Travel Stop is so much more than a place to get fuel and a quick snack.

On a rainy day in rural Tennessee, I began seeing billboards for Dolly's Tennessean Travel Stop off of I-65. I'd been on a long, cross-country road trip with my dog and the weather had placed me behind schedule. This stop, located in Cornersville, Tennessee, would be a welcome break.I was already planning to visit Dollywood, Dolly Parton's theme park in the Smoky Mountains, but when I learned the Queen of Country had opened this attraction of sorts in late June, I planned a detour to check it out.As a veteran road tripper, I was curious to see how it compared to other beloved roadside chains like Buc-ee's, Wawa, and Love's.
The stop seemed pretty promising from the outside.
I stopped at Dolly's Tennessean Travel Stop during my road trip.
