A distressing scene unfolded in Bhambayi, Inanda on Tuesday afternoon when a human foetus was found in a portable chemical toilet.
Security company Reaction Unit South Africa (RUSA) was alerted to the incident when a truck driver from a local sanitation and plumbing company called their headquarters, requesting assistance.
According to on-scene reports, company employees were conducting routine servicing and cleaning of the public chemical toilet when the suction pipe suddenly became severely blocked.
