Russian forces shelled the city of Izium in Kharkiv region with cluster munitions, injuring five people, including a 16-year-old girl.

Ukrinform reported this, citing Kharkiv Regional Military Administration Head Oleh Syniehubov.

“Today, the invaders shelled Izium. As a result of the attack, five people were injured, including a 16-year-old girl. Another five people suffered acute stress reactions, including an 11-year-old girl,” the statement said.

All those affected are receiving the necessary medical assistance. According to the Izium City Military Administration, Russian forces struck Izium between 10:30 a.m. and 11:50 a.m.

Three impacts from a Tornado-S multiple rocket launcher system were preliminarily recorded. One of the munitions was equipped with a cluster warhead.
