Two people were killed, and four others were injured as a result of Russian shelling of the city of Izium in the Kharkiv region.

According to Ukrinform, the Izium City Military Administration reported this on Telegram.

“Today, August 7, at 12:18 p.m., the enemy struck the city of Izium. Unfortunately, two civilians were killed as a result of the attack. Four more people were injured, two of whom suffered acute stress reactions,” the statement said.

Volodymyr Vakulenko Street was struck.

“According to preliminary data, the shelling was carried out using multiple launch rocket systems (MLRS) equipped with cluster munitions,” the Izium City Military Administration said.
