HYDERABADThe Bharat Rashtra Samithi (BRS) has alleged that the Congress Government in the State and the BJP Government at the Centre are still hiding facts about the cancelled visit of Chief Minister A. Revanth Reddy and the latter did not reveal the truth on Monday but only tried to fool people.Speaking to the media here on Tuesday, BRS general secretary R.S. Praveen Kumar pointed out that instead of giving all the details about his visit to the Ministry of External Affairs 15 days prior to the departure, Mr. Reddy was understood to have shared the details only five days in advance.Mr. Praveen Kumar ridiculed the Chief Minister’s argument, comparing his visit to those of BRS leaders K.T. Rama Rao and T. Harish Rao and reminded that they were not ministers or chief ministers and their visits were personal, while Mr. Reddy’s visits were in the diplomatic category.Going back to Telangana self-esteem, Mr. Praveen Kumar sought to know as to where did it go when Andhra Pradesh was diverting huge quantities of water from Srisailam, when the in-basin areas in Telangana were facing drought conditions. He alleged that Mr. Revanth Reddy had planned a US visit only to promote his Future City project, where his family had about 3,000 acres of land. Published - August 25, 2026 07:20 pm IST
