HYDERABADThe Bharat Rashtra Samithi (BRS) has demanded that the State and Central governments reveal the reasons behind the denial of permission to Chief Minister A. Revanth Reddy to visit the U.S. since it is not just an insult to Mr. Reddy but the four-crore Telangana people.Speaking to newspersons here on Saturday, MLC Dasoju Sravan said people of the State must know the facts from both the Chief Minister and the Union government that led to denial of permission for the U.S. visit. The Ministry of External Affairs must reveal what ‘wrong decisions’ the Chief Minister had taken, forcing it to deny permission to the visit.By denying permission, the Centre had made it amply clear that the Chief Minister’s schedule had programmes that degraded the post’s stature. Perhaps the Chief Minister was planning to do something in the U.S. by hiding it from the people, since his schedule for August 27 and 28 in Boston and New York was blank, the BRS leader pointed out.
