Out of the total of 13,93,163 voters in Raichur district, 3,21,396 entries have been deleted from the electoral rolls under the Special Intensive Revision (SIR) of electoral rolls.Addressing a press conference in Raichur on Monday, Deputy Commissioner and District Election Officer Poovitha S. said that out of the 3,21,396 voters deleted, 61,385 were deceased, 1,87,941 have permanently shifted, 30,733 have been classified as absent voters and 365 are under the Others categories.​Compared to the 2025 electoral rolls, this draft reflects a variance of 3,21,396 voters (an 18.75% change).TimelineThe window for voter list revisions, filing claims and submitting objections is open from August 27 to October 22.​New registrationProspective voters turning 18 by October 1, 2026 can apply for inclusion by submitting Form 6 either online or through their local Booth Level Officers (BLOs).Following the disposal of all claims and objections, the final electoral rolls will be published on October 27.​The Deputy Commissioner has asked the public to verify their details, request address updates or submit new applications with proper documents within the stipulated period.​Assistant Commissioner of Raichur Sub-Division Hampanna Sajjan, District Election Branch Shirastedar Rishikeshi and other officials were present.
