Aditya Birla Health Insurance Co. Ltd. (ABHICL) announced on Tuesday a partnership with the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India (ICAI) to offer tailored health insurance plans to over 12.32 lakh CA students and 4.67 lakh CA members. The tie-up also extends coverage to professionals working with CA firms.The company has mapped four products for different customer profiles within the ICAI ecosystem. Those under 35 are being directed to Activ Yuva, a wellness-focused plan. Members above 35 without chronic conditions are recommended Activ One Max Unlimited Care with a Durable Equipment Rider. Those with pre-existing illnesses can opt for Activ One VYTL, which covers seven chronic conditions from day one and includes an OPD-based chronic management programme. Members porting from another insurer are offered either of the latter two plans based on their health profile.Policyholders will have access to ABHICL’s Health Management Programme, under which they earn Active Dayz by meeting daily fitness targets such as walking 10,000 steps. Those who accumulate 325 Active Dayz in a policy year while maintaining a healthy heart score can recover up to 100 per cent of their annual premium as HealthReturns.Key product features include Super Credit on Activ Yuva, which grows the sum insured at each renewal regardless of claims, and Super Reload on Activ One Max, which reinstates the base sum insured even after it has been fully utilised within the policy year.
