War update: enemy presses hardest on Pokrovsk and Kostiantynivka axes; 209 battles recorded at front in 24 hours

On August 24, 209 combat engagements between the Ukrainian Defense Forces and Russian forces were recorded across the front.

Ukrinform reported this, citing the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine on Facebook, in an update as of 8:00 a.m. Tuesday, August 25.

The enemy launched two missile strikes using three missiles and carried out 80 airstrikes, dropping 234 guided glide bombs.

In addition, Russian forces used 9,641 kamikaze drones and conducted 3,203 attacks, 83 of them using multiple rocket launchers.

Artillery fire hit Bachivsk, Korenok, Ryzhivka, Tolstodubove, Ulanove, Volfyne, Budky, Shpyl, Rohizne, Kucherivka, Bezsalivka, Vyntorivka, Havrylova Sloboda, Starykove, Atynske, Vovkivka, Malushyne, Seredyna-Buda, and Yastrubshchyna in Sumy region, as well as Yanzhulivka, Bohdanove, and Kliusy in Chernihiv region. Tolstodubove also came under an airstrike.
