On August 2, a total of 207 combat engagements were recorded between the Ukrainian Defense Forces and Russian invading troops.
According to Ukrinform, the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine stated this on Facebook in its operational update as of 08:00 on August 3.
The enemy carried out 94 airstrikes, dropping 296 guided aerial bombs. In addition, Russian forces launched 10,573 kamikaze drones and conducted 3,336 shelling attacks, including 31 using multiple launch rocket systems (MLRS).

Ukraine's missile forces and artillery struck four UAV command posts, eight artillery pieces, seven areas where enemy personnel were concentrated, and five command posts belonging to the Russian invaders.
