Russia’s Perm oil refinery has suspended operations following a Ukrainian drone attack on August 21.
Reuters reported this, according to Ukrinform.
“The Perm oil refinery, Russia's seventh-largest oil processing plant by volumes, stopped operations following a Ukrainian drone attack, which caused fire and damage to technological units on August 21,” two industry sources said on Sunday.
According to the sources, the refinery’s main CDU-4 crude distillation unit, which accounts for nearly 40% of the plant’s capacity, was shut down on August 21. The unit can process 14,000 metric tons of crude oil per day.
Preliminary estimates suggest that repairs could take between one and two weeks.
